Defined by the coast but ranging inland through redwood forests and eastward to sweeping vistas of rolling hills, the Pacific Northwest is a photographer's paradise. Waves and wildflowers, cliffs and sea stacks, fog and sunshine provide for dramatic ocean scenes. From Olympic National Park in western Washington, south through the lovely coastal communities of Oregon and California, these are some of my favorite places to photograph.
