Waking up an hour before sunrise in this remote outpost overlooking Glen Canyon and Lake Powell I was met with one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen. The light went on and on for over an hour and I was mesmerized by the scene and beauty. This area of the Colorado river canyon reveals buttes, cliffs, and outcroppings surrounded by the reservoir waters.
